Millie Monka and the Salmon Canary

PLOT SUMMARY:
The salmon cannery has been in the Monka family for five generations, long before even Gramma Monka was around. Unbeknownst to the Monka family, there are treasures even greater than savory salmon. Though, the overly-friendly factory worker and part-time evil villain Artie Fischel dives in classic dastardly style. Our secret scoundrel has blocked the salmon from entering the river, attempting to drive the Monkas out of business so he can take over the deed and get his hands on the precious hidden metals.
Will hero Fisher Cutbait be able to save Millie from the conveyor belt? Will Gramma’s heart hold up to tell the tale? Find out in this timeless melodrama featuring fishy characters and far-fetched comedy, sure to provide plenty of laughs that are anything but canned.

You will have a new unforgettable meeting not only with these dreamers, travelers and audience favorites, but also a meeting with your favorite songs. You will learn about the dangers that await friends on New Year's Eve and who is plotting against them by watching the play "New Year's Adventures of the Bremen Town Musicians".

The play is for children from 3 years old.

PLOT SUMMARY:
eff and Hunter, two struggling writers, hear about a new musical theatre festival. However, the deadline for submissions is a mere three weeks away. With nothing to lose, the pair decides to try to create something new with the help of their friends Susan, Heidi and Larry on the eighty-eights. With the cast in place, Jeff and Hunter begin a conversation about what to write about. Eventually, Jeff suggests they write about what to write about. They make a pact to write up until the festival's deadline and dream about the show changing their lives. [title of show] -- taken from the space on the festival's application form which asks for the "[title of show]" -- follows Hunter and Jeff and their friends on their journey through the gauntlet of creative self-expression. In the span of 90 minutes they write and perform their show at the festival and learn lessons about themselves as people, friends and artists.
