Brook Baker (singer, actor, director, choreographer, dance instructor, make-up instructor) is an advanced level, triple threat performer with 14 years of experience, and a performing arts student with over 11 years of training and 5 years of teaching within the disciplines of theater, dance, music and stagecraft. From the age of three, Brook has been afforded numerous opportunities to train and work with highly accredited professionals of both stage and screen either associated with or arranged through the various theaters, studios, academies, performing art programs and pedagogical organizations of which she has been affiliated. Including Art Centre Theatre, a few of these affiliations are Dallas Summer Musicals Academy, Breitling Performing Arts, Dance Zone, First Dallas, Academy of Arts/Texas Music and Dance, Rowlett Dance Academy, North Texas Performing Arts and Pure Movement Allen. As a performer, she has been in over a 150 productions, recorded 3 CDs, and received several recognitions and awards including being showcased by DSMA as one of DFW's Top 25 Young Artists of 2015, and presented with Art Centre Theatre Best Actor award of 2016 and Best Teen Actor award of 2018. She has also been nominated for Best Leading Actress in a teen show and Best Supporting Actress in an adult show for the 2018 BroadwayWorld Dallas awards. Brook has been a dance instructor with Breitling Performing Arts since 2016, and teaching theatrical make-up application since 2019. She was also an assistant dance teacher at Academy of Arts/TMAD for 2 years, a member of DSMA's Broadway Bound performance troupe for 3 years and currently a member and head choreographer of the Plano Players performance troupe.
